What is the NextUp Virtual Venue?
With the recent ban on mass gatherings, and the cancellation of multitudes of tours, gigs, and shows, we wanted to do something to help keep the live comedy scene going. That’s why during this crisis (and potentially beyond!) we’re going to be streaming comics live!
From live streams of their shows to new and exciting formats, you’ll get to watch, chat and engage with your favourite acts in real-time – and tip them some money to help support them during this difficult time. If you want to tune in, check out our upcoming schedule below.
Joining the live stream
We’ve made it super simple to join our live streams and you can get started in just a few clicks.
If you’re joining us on Facebook Live;
- Visit and follow our Facebook page here.
- Once we start live streaming, you’ll see our post appear at the top of the page.
- If you don’t, visit our video section and you’ll see a small red sign that says live.
- Visit https://www.facebook.com/watch/NextUpComedy/ .
If you’re joining us on Twitch;
- Visit our Twitch page here.
- Create a Twitch account by clicking ‘Sign Up’ in the top right of the screen and entering your details or downloading the app.
- Once you have an account, you’ll be able to chat, react and send money (or tip) your favourite comic directly on the stream.
- Make sure to follow us to be alerted whenever a live stream starts.
