Panel: ‘Heckles, Highs and Late Night Pies’

Two of the UK’s best loved and busiest comics on the circuit give their most honest, upfront accounts of life on the road. From perilous pub gigs and festival festival fuck ups, to riding the highs of a sellout show with the lows of a stale Ginster’s pasty on the M52, strap in for the hot mess and home truths that make up life as a gigging comic.

Hosted by improv/stand up comedy legend and current star of Sky’s I Hate Suzie, Alison Thea-Skot talks to Micky Overman and Bec Hill.

Micky Overman, (Chortle Best Newcomer nominee 2018, Funny Women and Leicester Square New Comedian finalist 2016), originally hails from the Netherlands and began her stand up career in London 5 years ago. In 2018 she wrote and performed her first solo show ‘Role Model’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her 2019 follow up show Micky Overman Presents: Presenting Miss Micky Overman was praised for being “endearingly goofy yet refreshingly no-nonsense.” (Funny Women).

Bec Hill is an Aussie -born, UK-based comedian, writer, actor and presenter. Best known for her viral flipchart videos and ridiculous social media adventures, when she’s not performing stand-up around the world to adults and kids, you’ll find her appearing on/writing for telly, chatting on various podcasts, or winning awards. Her special ‘Bec In an Hour’ is available to view now on NextUp Comedy.

Start Time: We recommend joining at 6:30pm (UK time) to ensure you’re set-up for an 7pm start.
Each gig lasts around 50-60 minutes.
