There are so many reasons to recommend…
Firstly, it's great value for money; weekly live shows, hundreds of shows that can be watched on demand and the occasional cheeky festival thrown in. Secondly it's incredibly well run; I've seen a lot of live comedy and the tech guys with Next Up are the best.

Highly recommended especially for fans of more alternative comedy
For fans of comedy this is well worth the subscription fee. It's the only platform which champions the genius yet lesser known talent of the comedy world where the shows have so much more uniqueness and insight than the Netflix fodder.

Cheaper Than Netflix
NextUp are the streaming service everyone who likes a giggle should sign up to. Not only do you get access to hundreds of live shows and short sets from established and new and up coming artists but also weekly (more some months) live streams from Comedy Clubs such as Angel Backyard and the Comedy Store. And if that wasn't enough to be bandaging up your split sides they have been streaming shows live from Leicester Comedy Festival.

Fantastic, growing source of accessible comedy
Fantastic growing source of accessible, instantly-viewable comedy, plus live gigs and an ever-growing set of events like the brand new Access Festival (Jan 2023). Incredibly good value for the annual pass, and includes livestreams from things like the Edinburgh Fringe.

THE BIG QUESTIONS
What is 'NextUp'?!
NextUp is a streaming service for you to watch the best stand-up comedy. Featuring weekly livestreams direct from comedy clubs and festivals, alongside a huge library of on-demand comedy specials and short sets - many of which are exclusive.
Watch as much as you want, whenever you want, without any adverts – all for a ridiculously low price. With new shows every week, there's always a new comedian to discover.
What are 'livestreams'?
Only with NextUp can you tune in LIVE to comedy shows happening across the UK.
These livestreams are multi-camera HD experiences with crystal clear sound and interactive text chat so you can react and comment with fans around the world.
Whether it's the Edinburgh Fringe or London's world famous Comedy Store, livestreams bring the ‘anything can happen’ magic of live comedy to your home.
Which comedians are on?
Our shows feature famous comedians and rising stars such as Maisie Adam, Ed Byrne, Josie Long, Miles Jupp, James Acaster, Richard Herring, Lou Sanders, Suzi Ruffel, Sam Simmons, Jen Brister, Shappi Khorsandi, Thanyia Moore, Jess Fostekew, Jordan Brookes, Rachel Parris, Lauren Pattison, Kiri Pritchard-Mclean, Reginald D Hunter, Mae Martin, Zoe Lyons, Paul Sinha, Mark Watson, Laura Lexx, Daliso Chaponda, Robert White + more.
What can I watch?
Shows are either 60 minute comedy ‘specials’ - like you’re watching a comedian on tour, or a mixed bill night with 10 minute sets from different acts - like you’re at the best comedy club in town. We tirelessly scout the circuit to serve you the best shows, with new and exclusive releases every week.
We also reflect the variety of the comedy scene better than any other platform with observational stand-up alongside character comedians, musical comedy, sketch groups, and alternative acts.
Are NextUp good or evil?
Oh so good! NextUp split your Annual Pass 50/50 with the comedians you watch. We also provide free writing and rehearsal space and spearhead initiatives to increase representation in live comedy.
Social impact projects are supported such as 'The Care Home Tour' that saw comedians perform for dementia care home residents. During COVID-19, we raised over £150k for acts who lost their income.
By joining NextUp, not only can you discover the best live comedy, you’re supporting it too.
