This ‘highly inventive rising star of the comedy circuit’ has been performing since 2009. Pat Cahill has had the majority of his success in 2012. He has written and performed two podcasts for BBC Radio, ‘Chick N Mix’ and ‘Doggy Dilemma’, as well as performing on BBC Three‘s Chris Moyles‘ Comedy Empire. Cahill also took ‘The Tim and Pat Show’ to Edinburgh Festival Fringe to great reviews in 2012. He returned to the fringe in 2013 with his show ‘Start’.

Bio
Cahill was educated at the University of East Anglia which is where he did his first comedy gig in a tiny basement bar in Norwich.
Cahill received the Chortle Best Newcomer 2012 award and New Act of the Year (Hackney Empire Awards). Cahill is also a Latitude New Act of Year Finalist and BBC Radio 2‘s BBC New Comedy Act of the Year Finalist.
In 2013 he starred in his own show ‘Still Reeling’ for Channel 4 Comedy Blaps, about a young man and his father. The young man ‘Ricky’ (Cahill) has dreams of becoming a TV fishing star, alongside his world-weary father (played by Matt King). One day Cahill hops he will one day be able to catch the world’s biggest stickleback.
TV wise Cahill has had appearances on ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, Sky Arts, and BBC 3, as well as various radio shows including BBC Radio 1 BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4Extra. As well as supporting Ardal o’Hanlon and Nina Conti on tour, he has written and performed 4 critically acclaimed shows at The Fringe Festival and appeared internationally in Belguim, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands and Peterborough.
