What's on this week, NextUppers?! 👀

🎤Fast Fringe, Edinburgh Previews 2026 (Mon): Arthur Smith will again host a manically-paced showcase offering a giddy sample of the Edinburgh Fringe in one fun-packed night. Highlights include musical comedy impressionist Jess Robinson, as heard on Dead Ringers plus stand-up from SNL UK writer Omar Badwy, Traitors series 1 winner and leading podcaster Hannah Byczkowski, and cult favourites John-Luke Roberts and Adam Larter... and SO MANY MORE!

🎤The Bill Murray (Thurs): This comedy night showcases the best talent in the UK and beyond. Lots of their regulars have gone on to appear on Live at the Apollo, on panel shows like Mock The Week or have their own specials on Netflix. It's a friendly place where you get to see tomorrow's stars just before they break big.

I've also got some more #EdFringe lineup clues coming your way. All I can say for now is get those crossword puzzle brains activated for Wednesday...😉

You're the absolute first to see it, but we officially have our 2026 Ed Fringe Mascot!

This little legend is basically a full-time member of the NextUp team now. They’ll be crashing every behind-the-scenes pic and moment in Edinburgh - so if you can't make it to the Fringe in person, you can live vicariously through them and still feel part of the best two weeks of the year.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

This character needs a name, and we want our community (i.e. you) to choose it. Drop your best name suggestions in the comments below! We’ll be officially crowning them on our main socials at the end of the week. 👑
