NextUp Comedy YouTube Giveaway - Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Promoter

The promoter is NextUp Comedy Ltd, c/o Bright Beany Accounting, Cumberland House, 35 Park Row, Nottingham, England, NG1 6EE. Company number 09940291 ("NextUp", "we", "us").

2. Eligibility

  • Open to individuals aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
  • Open worldwide, except where entry or receipt of the prize is prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
  • Employees, contractors, agents and immediate family members of NextUp and any company involved in administering the giveaway are not eligible.
  • Entrants are responsible for ensuring participation is legal in their jurisdiction.

3. Entry period

  • Opens: 6 May 2026, 00:01 BST.
  • Closes: 15 May 2026, 23:59 BST.
  • Entries received outside this window will not be accepted.

4. How to enter

Primary entry (one entry per person):

  1. Subscribe to the NextUp Comedy YouTube channel.
  2. Comment "DONE" on the giveaway post on @nextupcomedy Instagram, or on the NextUp Comedy YouTube community post.

Bonus entry (optional, one additional entry per person):

  • Leave a comment on any video on the NextUp Comedy YouTube channel during the entry period.

Free alternative entry (no subscription, purchase or social action required):

  • Email info@nextupcomedy.com with subject line "NextUp Giveaway Entry", including your full name, age, country of residence, and Instagram or YouTube handle. One free entry per person.

Duplicate primary entries from the same person will be disregarded. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that appears fraudulent, automated, or in breach of these rules.

5. Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a lifetime membership to NextUp Comedy.
  • Approximate value: in excess of £200.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash alternative.
  • The prize is delivered as a lifetime membership applied to the winner's NextUp Comedy account.
  • We reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the original becomes unavailable.

6. Winner selection and notification

  • One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.
  • The winner will be contacted only by Direct Message from the verified @nextupcomedy Instagram account.
  • The winner must reply within 5 days of being contacted, quoting their YouTube handle, to claim the prize.
  • If the winner does not respond within 5 days, or is ineligible, we reserve the right to forfeit the prize and draw an alternative winner.

7. Winner announcement

The winner's first name and last initial will be announced on @nextupcomedy Instagram (Story and pinned comment) within 14 days of the closing date. By entering, you consent to this announcement if selected.

8. Data and privacy

  • Personal data collected is used solely for administering the giveaway and contacting the winner.
  • NextUp acts as data controller under applicable data protection law, including UK GDPR for UK residents and EU GDPR for EU residents.
  • Data is retained for 3 months after close, then deleted, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

9. Platform disclaimer

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, YouTube or Google. By entering, you release these platforms from any responsibility.

10. General

  • We reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel this giveaway if circumstances beyond our reasonable control require it.
  • Any tax liabilities arising from the prize are the winner's responsibility.
  • We are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or technically corrupt.
  • Decisions of NextUp on all matters relating to this giveaway are final and binding.
  • These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
