Hi Ellie, thanks for you reply, and for clarifying . It’s reassuring to hear that no ads and catch ups will remain for all, not just vips. I get it must be hard to find something that would appeal to everyone . I will be cheeky here and repeat one of my requests from the survey- would you guys consider launching an online only vip tier that was slightly cheaper that only included stuff like the Q and A’s and not the in person tickets ? I get it’s for a lifetime membership, but for someone who would be physically unable to use the in person benefits of tickets - I know NextUp film across the country but not all venues have stair free access or wheelchair spaces, and public transport can be a challenge- an online only level would make me feel more like I had taken advantage of a great deal allowing me to continue being part of the NextUp community rather than feeling like I was missing out/excluded by my disability .

I’m still a little unclear what the benefits of vip membership is, aside from tickets to filmed shows . The fact that access to catch up livestreams and no ads are being used as selling points for the vip makes me nervous that these will stop being included for us “ regular” members. .As someone who struggles to access many live comedy venues, I’d be unlikely to be able to use the in person tickets so the only benefit I can see for me personally is the act Q and A’s but as resurrection festival showed, these don’t always run smoothly. I get that everyone’s financial situation is different but for me personally, £120 is a large outlay , and not one I feel able to make without more information
Catch ups aren’t mentioned at all in the regular membership stuff, that’s why I wasn’t sure. Your understanding makes more sense though 🙂
This is probably a stupid question but the vip membership says 95% livestreams available on catch up. Does that mean some catch ups will be available for vips only ?

Are the Q&A that had sound issues available? I’ve had a browse ans can’t find them but not sure if I’m just looking in the right places

I love the fact there’s a roku app as before I was relying on casting from my phone which as others have noted often leads to sound syncing issues. It’s also a lot easier to navigate the new app , especially when browsing for something new to watch .On the livestream catch ups, it would be helpful to know how long each will be available rather than just saying limited time.
