Kai - Community Admin thats awful. I remember as a uni student in 1980s one of my flatmates needed help so I ended up being a companion to a mini van of wheelchair users on a theatre trip and pushed them on off van in out theatre to from loos so had a very early education on accessibility 40+ years later as a mobility issue myself sadly for every idiot still some angels help but can’t get to certain gigs hence need NextUp

Depends on layout of venue and show eg any recordings happy at front as it’s not a crowd work occasion eg some clubs happy at front due to safe spaces but with my daughter definitely 3+ rows back rest of time where the loo/exit/access requirements are optimal incl front or back

What a great idea the start of many eg once a month themed appropriately (eg Easter Eggs chocolate rabbits etc, summer holidays etc) rebooting the online community upside of NextUp

Oooh I spotted Jason and LST in the pix exciting!

Sadly I can’t technically do WhatsApp but I agree the after show chats were really a positive in lockdown as I had to work through out often the only person on my floor and needed cheering up and human contact. I have met some IRL and got photos and loved Chelsea’s growth from viewer to comic on stage ❤️

Boringly I’m trying even harder to lose weight than ever before my surgery and cutting out all my treats (except NextUppers as it’s already paid for) and reading etc (as I’ve got free online access via local library) and saving for a postop holiday
