Hal is back with a brand-new tour for 2026 with a show that promises to stick it to ‘The Man’, as long as ‘The Man’ doesn’t stick it back to him. With his trademark hard-hitting ‘take no prisoners’ comedy (this is what Hal told me to write!!!), he will be hilariously pontificating on subjects like middle-aged dating, social media, the insanity of modern politics and the fact that his daughters love him but don’t respect him. He believes that, after you’ve seen the show, you’ll feel exactly the same way.

Ellipsis

Stand-up is the outlet that keeps you sane. The nature of the game is to turn everything into punchlines. Can you do it if you feel all-consuming sadness? I wanted my therapist to come and watch me to see how f*cking hilarious I am, but I thought how odd it would be performing to someone who's seen so far behind my mask. Would he even find it funny or just sit there knowing what I was hiding? Ellipsis explores grieving, authenticity and being funny.

Hello again NextUppers! Some of you might know that today is World Suicide Prevention Day. It's a day that affects families and individuals all around the world. In support, comedian Isabelle Farah is pledging to donate a portion of her September earnings from her NextUp special, Ellipsis, to Suicide & Co.

Suicide & Co is the only national charity in the UK focused on professional support for people bereaved by suicide. Their mission is to provide essential support and open up the conversation about suicide loss, so no one has to go through it alone.

By watching her show this month, you'll be directly donating to this amazing organisation. Over the next few weeks, pop it on a few times in the background while you go about your day. Every view counts. Thanks guys! ❤️

Silence of the Nans

In 2023, after 20 years of stand up, I did Britain’s Got Talent. People asked me, “why now?”. Up until that point I’d been very happy avoiding TV & fame - and in that sense, I’d been hugely successful! However, the year before, I’d also had a stroke and lost half my eyesight. I was now keen to talk about my experience, comedically, to as wide an audience as possible. I did quite well, got to the semi-finals & had my 15 minutes fame. Careful what you wish for!
