And the name of your #EdFringe mascot is...

Nicolas Stupp (Nick to his friends). 😉

P.S. Everyone say 'THANK YOU EDI!' for the brilliant name suggestion. A load of you lot seemed to love it!

Your #EdFringe mascot is here! 🎪✨

Hey NextUppers! Hope you’re having a stellar evening and are hyped for tonight's livestream!

So...you've probably seen the picture above and are thinking, what is this? 😂

You're the absolute first to see it, but we officially have our 2026 Ed Fringe Mascot!

This little legend is basically a full-time member of the NextUp team now. They’ll be crashing every behind-the-scenes pic and moment in Edinburgh - so if you can't make it to the Fringe in person, you can live vicariously through them and still feel part of the best two weeks of the year.

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This character needs a name, and we want our community (i.e. you) to choose it. Drop your best name suggestions in the comments below! We’ll be officially crowning them on our main socials at the end of the week. 👑

Loving these clues 🤣! August can't come soon enough.

Some behind the scenes pics from The Comedy UK Radio Roadshow last week! What a brilliant night and amazing way to launch Comedy UK! 😍⭐

Hahaha! NextUp you guys are so unserious 🤣 This poll made me laugh. But in all seriousness, I'm now wondering if Mary Poppins is probably the better choice.

For certain elite niche group of NextUppers I have awesome news Randy Feltface is back on a certain audience ticket site 8/15 August!

Omg has anyone seen the lineup for Celebrity Traitors UK coming this autumn?? I only saw it last night and I am literally SO excited that James Acaster is doing it!! 😭 Absolute genius casting.

Here’s the full list if you haven't seen it yet. Anyone you wish was in it this year?
